About

Hello! I'm a writer and a teacher at Los Angeles City College and Otis College of Art and Design. I received my Ph.D. in Art History in 2021 from The Graduate Center, CUNY. I have taught the history of art and architecture at San Francisco State University, SCI-Arc, Marywood University, Hunter College, Brooklyn College, and the Spitzer School of Architecture at City College. I was the Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow at Dia Art Foundation for 2016-17 and previously held administrative positions at Artists Space and the American Federation of Arts in New York City. I also organize for housing and social justice as an active member of the L.A. chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America and the Los Angeles Tenants Union.
